The Senior Distribution Operations Analyst is a key member of the Operations team and is responsible for analyzing processes, DC capacity, inventory management, order fulfilment and developing analytical reporting for all NA Distribution facilities (multi-channel operations). The position will report to Director of Distribution Operations and make recommendations for key areas of operations.  They must make reporting actionable and solution based.  This position will translate department strategy into specific strategic roadmaps, KPI’s and metrics for measuring progress, productivity, service and cost.  Additionally they will produce reporting and data analysis that enables management to take action on findings and recommendations.  The Senior Operations Analyst will be assigned a lead role on key projects as they are developed.  They will ensure all assigned projects are completed on schedule and meet expectations of the various stakeholders.  They will provide reporting of daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s and Scorecards for Distribution Management.  The Operations Analyst must possess and demonstrate strong analytical acumen, teamwork, project/program lead skills and excellent communication.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to, the following:


  • Perform data gathering task, develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization.
  • Develop, maintain and analyze operational reports including KPI’s and Scorecard.
  • Review methods and process to uncover problems and inefficiencies to reduce cost and improve service.
  • Set standards for processes. Measure and report on work function standards weekly.
  • Utilize analytical tools (eg. Excel, Access, Spotfire, WMS, ADP, Diver, Powerpoint) to enable data driven decisions.
  • Perform complex data analyses and make recommendations in support of ad-hoc request.
  • Support problem solving capabilities through root cause analysis and develop solutions.
  • Develop standard processes, methodologies and reports for analyzing and presenting data.
  • Use and support database applications and analytical tools to evaluate data quality, applications and functions
  • Review operational metrics with key stakeholders to develop strategy and action plans.
  • Provide Operations with relevant data and analysis to make proactive informed decisions
  • Communicates with internal customers on an ongoing basis to ensure the best service possible. (SCOT reporting, SLA’s, Carryover status, Routing delays, Performance KPI’s)
  • Coordinates needs with other departments to ensure project completion.

 Reports to Director of NA Distribution Operations

  • 3rd Party Providers




  • A. degree from four-year College or University.
  • 8 years’ experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in Distribution Operations/Supply Chain order fulfillment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers and managers.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratio’s, and proportions to practical solutions.
  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
  • Experience creating dashboards using Access, Excel, Spotfire reporting.
  • Experience working with ADP, Kronos, Powerpoint, Diver reporting and WMS.
