As a Public Relations Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of public relations strategies for the New Balance brand and its designated consumer groups. In this role you will oversee program development and activation to support the annual game plan. You will manage agency/external resources for media relations initiatives and represent the brand at consumer and media events. You will collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to initiate and identify newsworthy opportunities, develop seeding and influencer programs as well as host off-site media events. You will work closely with the company’s sports marketing teams to maximize earned opportunities with the brand’s ambassadors. You will also be responsible for the execution of the product placement program. You will oversee the public relations contributions to New Balance’s associate communications and New Balance website as well as manage budgets and vendor relationships and provide status reports to relevant stakeholders.
