Overview

The purpose of this position is to collaborate with the global visual team to ensure seasonal visual merchandising directives are executed to standard in the field, develop and execute field training, facilitate and lead the visual training and follow up for all new store openings, relocations, and expansions.  The role is part of a dynamic, fast paced and creative environment and requires interaction with cross-functional partners to ensure superior execution of brand standards and visual merchandising strategies, positively impacting overall business results.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures brand and merchandising expectations are consistently upheld throughout all owned DTC retail locations, including supporting store teams on the execution and maintenance of seasonal direction
  • Provides clear, direct, and structured communication to stores regarding merchandising and presentation initiatives; offering solutions and training activations
  • Engages with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across global and regional initiatives
  • Critical reporting, business analysis, to apply knowledge to the region; linking visual merchandising and presentation to the overall business results
  • Provides feedback, solutions, best practices, insights on future floor set activity, tools and seasonal POV to the global visual merchandising team
  • Develops, recruits, imbeds visual merchandising capability across region; country, area, store, staff
  • Facilitates seasonal training with cross functional teams, market teams, on floor set implementation, interpretation and visual standards
  • Drives the merchandising execution of new store openings, renovations, by training and developing new teammates in all areas of visual merchandising
  • Partners with market level retail operations to develop actionable plans that will improve business performance throughout the region
  • Utilizes the seasonal directive to create and maintain a compelling store experience and exciting visual presentation for our customers global visual merchandising floor set activity at HQ mock store
  • Works with the store management teams to adapt in‐store visual and window display presentations based on unique needs of the store while maintaining the integrity of the brand
  • Ensures the stores are up to date on all current display initiatives, which relate to the brand
  • Ensures graphics and signage directions are implemented correctly
  • Travel required across all markets within EMEA organization and up to 4 days weekly

Qualifications

  • Established Visual Merchandising professional with proven track record for building and leading teams
  • Dynamic leader with the ability to create strong cross functional partnerships across all levels
  • Expert at creating and executing Visual Merchandising Concepts and In-store presentations
  • Strategic leader with focus on driving results and brand building
  • Outstanding design vision/ sensibility, aesthetics and form
  • The ability to inspire and work with others
  • Team player who leads by example
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills to provide clear guidelines and examples to field and teams with the ability to influence others
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
  • Materials and manufacturing knowledge
  • Strong follow-up skills and time management
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, fashion merchandising, visual merchandising
  • 10 + years experience in a Visual Merchandising leadership role with a vertical retail business
  • Must travel and work in store during installations - international travel required
