Overview

Assisting the Visual Merchandiser in the execution & training of Visual Standards in assigned Flagship Store. Partners with Retail Flagship Store Manager to carry out initiatives as they relate to visual display. Assists in the facilitation of Flagship Store Visual changeover plans and execution. Works with Inventory Coordinator/stock associates to ensure product is received, stocked, and displayed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible providing assistance to the Visual Merchandiser for the training and execution of visual standards in Flagship Store
  • Participates in visual walk through with Flagship Management team
  • Ensures new product is placed on the floor within visual guidelines in a timely manner
  • Assists with key product launches, product levels, and sell through
  • Hanging/steaming/organising apparel both front and back of house
  • Following the Visual Merchandisers lead, ensure all promotional materials, marketing signage, product signage and graphics, etc. are up to date and utilised as directed
  • Ensures mannequins and walls are set according to the momentum guide and refreshed as needed
  • Develop product knowledge of store merchandise
  • May participate in new store openings as requested
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent retail/visual experience desirable.
  • Visual Merchandising experience is required but is a junior role with opportunities to expand.
  • Self-motivation, creativity, and organization are a must in this role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Embraces NB Lifestyle and has an affinity with the New Balance Brand
  • Able to work early hours to execute initiatives before store opening
  • Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays
  • Depending on the location, may require some travel.
