Responsibilities

JOB MISSION:

The goal of our engineering internship is to provide an environment in which you can learn to apply your engineering skills in the development of world class products. Our goal is to help you grow your knowledge while you contribute to achieving our project goals.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Researching new technologies and materials,

Concept development and prototyping,

Performing prototype tear downs and analysis,

Prototype testing

 

KEY CUSTOMERS:

Innovation and inline engineering teams in US, China and Vietnam

 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

You will be required to document your findings and to present the customer with final reports that detail your conclusions and recommendations.

 

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Who does the job report to – Senior Innovation Engineer

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Plastic engineering
  • Master’s candidates preferred
  • Previous experience prototyping, testing and evaluating products is preferred
  • Candidates with an interest in the technical aspects within footwear
  • Desire to solve problems associated with running is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of CAD required.
  • Interest or working knowledge of 3D Printing Technologies preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products required.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to commit to a full working week

 

Start Date: Mid-Late November 2017
