New Balance’s AV Analyst will assist with installations, maintenance, and daily support of meeting experiences and AV equipment available in various meeting spaces and collaboration areas; offer support to video walls and digital signage operations; coordinate telco/cabling activities in office, warehouse, factory and retail spaces



  • Provides operational and maintenance support of all AV and conferencing systems across all meeting spaces and digital signage areas. Performs proactive daily room sweeps
  • Identifies customer system issues and requests; prioritizes; and promptly resolves problems, ensures service levels and quality control standards are followed
  • Furnishes necessary system documentation/feedback/training and recommends improvements
  • Maintains infrastructure communication systems such as VoIP and analog telephony, fax, data, etc.
  • Assists with project management activities around new facility/retail build-outs, adds-removes and changes; and manages contracted services for special company events.
  • Operates as member of larger IT Service Delivery team and assists with cross-functional initiatives


  • The AV Analyst serves all associates across the organization by ensuring collaboration technologies in all meeting spaces, collaboration areas, digital signage displays, video walls, etc. are in functioning order
  • Translates objectives, goals and strategy received from IT management, team members, and Senior Leadership team into executable plans
  • Also supports business partners and vendors joining meetings on-site and/or remotely



  • Completion of assigned service desk requests and incidents as per defined SLAs
  • Consistent positive feedback from user base; system uptime; quality work output
  • Focus on user-training and user adoption as much as quick problem solving
  • Periodic status reports; regular updates at team meetings and well documented environment/configurations
  • Multi-tasking while handling competing priorities; adherence to assigned budget
  • Self-initiating approach to work; upkeep with industry offerings and trends



  • Reports directly to Associate Telecommunications Manager



  • Comprehensive knowledge of VTC’s, Projectors, Screens, TVs, switchers, amplifiers, digital and analog mixers, Scalers, audio processing /compression, digital video systems, Crestron and Extron switchers, touch panels, Crestron Fusion, Toolbox, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of audio-visual connectivity and signal flow; experience reading wiring diagrams and interpreting system design drawings
  • Basic knowledge of voice and data software/hardware, networking protocols and terminology; TCP/IP, VoIP, SIP, QoS, Ethernet, Fiber, ADSL, Broadband, E.164/H.323/H.320 & SIP, Cable, Analog/Fax and cabling specifications are highly desirable
  • Ability to update firmware and do basic maintenance on AV equipment
  • Outstanding follow-through and problem solving skills, resourcefulness and multi-tasking
  • Quick-learner with attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse work force across the organization
  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, and be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders
